Some beds just get away from you. Weeds move in, overgrowth takes over, and before long the whole front of the house looks like nobody's home. That's exactly what we were dealing with here - beds completely choked out, branches scattered across the lawn, and no real defined edge separating the beds from the grass.

We cleared everything out first. All the overgrowth, the dead material, the mess - gone. Once the beds were cleaned down to a fresh start, we regraded and shaped the edges so there was a clean, visible line between the bed and the lawn. That separation alone makes a huge difference in how polished everything looks from the street.

Then came the fresh brown mulch. We laid it throughout every bed along the foundation, working around the existing plants and steps. Brown mulch is a great choice for brick homes - it contrasts well and gives off that neat, maintained look without being overdone. It also does real work below the surface, helping retain moisture for the plants and slowing weed growth so the beds stay cleaner longer.

This is the kind of landscape installation work that doesn't get enough credit. It's not flashy, but the difference between before and after is night and day. A well-kept bed says a lot about a property - and neglected ones say just as much. We handle the full process from cleanup to final installation so you're not juggling multiple crews or trying to DIY a job that snowballed out of control.

If your beds are starting to look more like a jungle than a landscape, that's our cue. A proper cleanup and fresh mulch installation is one of the fastest ways to put your home's best face forward.
